The location, staffs, ambience, room and Food was exceptional

Location is very near and central to the city and restaurant guys were quite professional and humane. Though they helped with late checkout etc, it was not smooth and also feel value for money could have been better.. Anyways hope things will be fixed..

Some of the attitude of some staff, economics was overpowering hospitality.. Middle level managers need better training and it has to also reflect on training junior house keeping staff... Hospitality was missing... Could be better!

Location is great. Bfast was included in the price I paid. Bfast options was good and service was goodComes with car park and valet parking drivers. Rooms were neat and clean. Bathroom was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Spl mention to front desk manager Rajesh, for making our stay comfortable ... I can definitely recommend this one

Nothing really. Everything was good

The room was clean and well maintained.

Restaurant was located at the opposite side of the hotel, and we had to cross the road with small children which was very difficult. Breakfast had limited options, and they were not re-filling the food. Only 3 staffs were managing a big restaurant, and we had to wait for long time for the food. We ordered the dinner at 9:30pm, and restaurant managed total us that it will served in 20mins, but the room service didn't show up till we made the 3rd call, and it reached at 10:30pm. Overall we are dissatisfied with the hotel, and won't recommend. Staffs seems to be inexperienced.

If you are staying you need to keep calling the housekeeping for basic amenities

Lack of basic facilities like hand wash, locker and fridge in a deluxe room. There was incomplete segregation in bathroom so water was everywhere in the bathroom.

All the staffs were awesome and property Manager Naveen was very good. He also suggested us to stay at Hycinth hotels in Trivandrum which was also excellent hotel.

There was no Iron in my room And had to wait 30 mins and kept chasing for which i was late to my meeting.There was no hotel manager just the staff. Intercom inly worked to reception.

Hotel is near to market and just 2 km from Minakshi temple.Hotel is clean and neat. Staff is cooperative.

The hotel is decent. Room was also comfortable. Location is good.

The hotel was not that clean, especially the resturant. There was a leakage in the bathroom. Towels had some weird smell.

The location is good. The food served in the restaurant was good.

Small Room, the toilet was cramped.

The Hotel staff was very polite and helpful, Everyone from the Front Desk to the Restaurant. They accommodated our early checkin request. Although they don't have a travel desk, but were able to provide a Taxi operator (Surya). The the cab driver (Palani) was also very helpful and acted a tour guide. We comfortably visited temples in Madurai, went to Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi without any issue. The food at the hotel was also delicious and we enjoyed the buffet and a la carte menu. The rooms were also very comfortable. So, after a tiring day we slept like a baby :)

Nothing to complaint.

Breakfast was good, they provided dosa, omlette, idli, meduwada, bread butter jam, fruits, tea coffee, boiled eggs.Rooms were clean, but sticky floor.We left early morning on the checkout day, on our request they gave us packed sandwich and fruits. as breakfast was included in the package.

1) for 5 adults and 8 year one kid, they gave one deluxe triple occupancy room and another one deluxe double occupancy room. we had to share a double bed for 2 adults and a child, this was booking.com mess as per the hotel management. and if we need a extra bed we had to pay for it. 2) the site from the room 306 was the deadliest, a giant, very big honey bee comb just outside the window glass in the exact middle. Most horrifying experience ever. Unpleasant and horrible.3) We asked for mozzarella pizza for the child, they served the pizza with foul smell cheese on it. the Mozzarella tasted sour and very bad, it was for sure expired one. the hotel manager said that he has checked and it is good. i asked him to smell or even taste it, without doing so, he said it is good and i can exclude it from the bill.4) they served glass bottles of water, which was not packed or sealed in the room.5) they did not provide any kit in the room, you have to call the reception and ask for what you have already paid, example - dental kit, towels, hand towels, bucket and mug in bathroom, no soap was given. Extremely bad service. you have to lower the cost if you do not want to provide the necessary kits upfront.6) they do not respond to your WhatsApp messages. they do not talk to you or greet you properly. rude staff.

Room was good and clean with a good view. Location of the hotel is good and only a few meters away from Meenakshi temple so you are not far away from the action anyways.

The parking facility is very limited and it is a big hassle to park and take parked vehicles out. The space required to maneuver the vehicles has been used to keep the generator so unless we have someone checking and helping you with instructions to turn, you will end up scratching your car pretty badly. Breakfast was disappointing since the options are limited and taste was passable. Cutlery was not washed in my case and I had to pick forks from other tables to manage. Service was satisfactory but staff can be a bit more welcoming when people come in for breakfast. Shower room in the bathrooms did even have a screen to prevent water from wetting the complete bathroom while taking bath. Once someone takes bath then you had to be very careful to not slip and ensure that you bath safely. Response to requests is a bit tardy and it takes time to register and get actioned as well.

The food was good.

The parking was horrible, there was no space for more than 4 to 5 cars to park. The staff behaviour can be better.

The staff were really polite and friendly, cleanliness was very good, not noisy and breakfast was lovely and to top it of reasonable price.

The only thing was I wasn't great at putting on the ac, perhaps a sticker to make it more clear, but once I got it on after clicking all the buttons it was top notch. Perhaps not a hotel thing but a me thing

This is the second time we're staying with Astoria (post 2023)We also extended our stay in Madurai so stayed here for 2 nights The staffs are friendly and helpful The food is okay, could be improved If you are a traveler we suggest that you explore the Madurai city and try dinner or lunch outside Facilities are good and room is adequately spacious
